Sigmoidal quartz vein within pebbly conglomerates of the Knobby Hill Member, Flatrock Cove Formation. Sigmoidal veins form originally as straight lines and in line with the main force acting upon the rocks. They are later progressively deformed as shear zones develop at an angle to the main force with continued tension in a ductile (plastic) environment.
