A sliver of the Chapel Arm Member, Manuels River Formation. It consists of pillow basalts, named after the structure that is formed when lava comes in contact with water. After being buried for an eon of time, these pillows resurface and come into contact with water once again at the edge of the Atlantic. Erosion from the ocean is now exposing intricate details of each pillow.
